Helping students become critical thinkers, thoughtful readers, and responsible citizens in our 21st century world are some of the reasons pursued degree.

I graduated in 2010 bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a degree from the South Carolina Honors College. I enjoy working

I am especially enthusiastic about teaching reading and using digital tools to help individuals overcome reading challenges and develop a love of reading. I’m also committed to teaching history and bringing it to life by integrating multimedia elements into lessons.

I live in Mansfield, TX, which is in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I have also lived in New Jersey and lived and worked in South Carolina and Tennessee. I have experience teaching at many different types of schools at multiple grade levels. You can learn more about my professional experience through my resume.

I am a huge sports fan, and I enjoy spending my free time watching sports, traveling to new places, meeting new people, and cooking. I have been married to my wonderful husband, William, for ten years, and we have a precious eighteen-month-old daughter, Samantha. We also have a very sweet, handsome, goofy, ten-year-old rescue greyhound named Maxcy.
